Notification of Aerial Shoot Program – Kosciuszko National Park

The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be undertaking an aerial shooting program for feral animal control in Kosciuszko National Park. The operation requires closure of park areasnorth of Snowy Mountains Highway and east of Goobarragandra Powerline Road.
The control program is scheduled to take place between Thursday 4th April to Friday 4th October 2024. During this period the area will be completely closed to the public and all park users. This includes all tracks, trails, campgrounds, huts, picnic areas and accommodation nodes. All campgrounds and huts on the north side of Snowy Mountains Highway are closed with the exception of Kiandra courthouse and Delaneys Hut.

Construction works at Geehi Flats campground will keep it closed also from March to June 2024.
