Section 10 Map 17 N to S Hall to Yarralumla
New trail permanent and temporary through Gininderry Housing Development. Until final route around entire estate, follow these directions and map. Total distance of approx. 4 km this trail is BNT marked.
Cross Parkwood Road after the Belconnen Pony Club as per published map directions.
Turn Right into Gininderry Trail and follow signage and map towards until you reach Stockdill Drive and Pro Hart Avenue to Drake Brockman Drive.
The last part of the trail is the permanent trail which also passes by the Link Building (Estate Display Centre) on McClymont Way and nearby Srathnairn Arts Centre cafe which both have toilets.
The first part of the trail will have housing construction nearby but avoids some going under the large power lines. On the whole, it’s very scenic and marked. Make the most of the pond after Asimus Avenue for horses as the next water stop is Cook Agistment Paddocks and Arboretum Pond before Yarralumla Camp.
CAUTION DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CIRCUMNAVIGATE AROUND THE WESTERN SIDE TOWARDS THE MURRUMBIDGEE RIVER OTHERWISE YOU WILL END UP IN FENCED CONSTRUCTION AREAS
Section 10 Map 17 S to N Yarralumla to Hall
New trail permanent and temporary through Gininderry Housing Development. Total distance approx. 4 km this trail is BNT marked.
The first part of the trail is permanent and last part until Parkwood Road after Isimus Avenue after pond is temporary until the final route is open.
From Drakebrockman Drive follow trail passing Spofforth Street on your right Pine Ridge agistment on your left into the new permanent trail on Pro Hart Avenue to Stockdill Drive through Gininderry Estate Development, Stratham Cafe nearby on your left. Back onto ProHart Avenue. Turn left on McClymont Way passing the Link Building (Estate Display Centre) toilets at both locations and follow signage and map towards Asimus Avenue near pond. After this section the trail follows safely around construction areas under the power lines and eventually onto Parkwood Road and crossing road to Belconnen Pony Club and published map directions.
CAUTION PAY ATTENTION TO SIGNAGE AND MAP DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO TOO FAR WEST TO RIVER OTHERWISE YOU WILL END UP IN DEAD END FENCED CONSTRUCTION AREAS
