Map 15 The Trail from 13.9-16.6 km North to South is permanently closed to all trekkers.

Walker/cyclists N-S can detour on Tarome Road from Callemondah Campsite to Aratula (a re-supply point). To continue, follow the Cunningham Highway south to turn left onto Lake Moogerah Road to rejoin the Trail. Travelling S-N, continue north on Lake Moogerah Road ignoring the turn-off at 8.9 km to then join the Cunningham Highway to Aratula. Trekkers with animals should contact the Section Coordinator to arrange access to private property.
